You know I really don’t condone the use of very many supplements when it comes to building muscle because to be quite frank a lot of them are simply a waste of money that contain nothing more than sugar, fillers and chemicals. Now I will admit that some of them do work a little but for what they are being sold at they just simply in my opinion are not worth it.

One of the best supplements that I use on a regular basis is a good multi-vitamin. Multi-vitamins may seem like a simple thing and may seem like no big deal but the fact of the matter is that taking a multi-vitamin can really help to improve recovery time, lifting abilities and stamina during your workout.

Our bodies are made up of millions of cells all of which do different functions within the body. These different functions require different resources in order to complete their functions. Now that being said many of these vitamins and minerals are gotten through different foods that you eat throughout the day like veggies, breads, fruit, milk and so on. The problem is that if you don’t have a great diet, you may end up coming up short on the required amounts of vitamins and minerals that your body needs.

Foods are also less rich in minerals and vitamins than they used to be due to all of the pesticides, poor ground conditions, pollution and farming practices that have come into play. This means that even a good balanced diet may not be able to give you the amount of vitamins and minerals your body needs. It is also important to note that the more active you are the more functions within the body have to take place therefore your resource stores become depleted a lot faster.

This is of course where a good multi-vitamin comes in, when used in conjunction with a healthy balanced diet you will be able to provide your body with what it needs to continue running efficiently and at its optimal level. This of course means that you will improve your workouts, and in the big picture of things increase your overall results and decrease the amount of time it will take to get there.
